 I'm not much of a drawer but I thought I'd give J&D a try.

I really like bunnies and bikes and glasses and bandanas;
so I threw them all in.

My power animal... is in hibernation!
I'm fierce, I promise--it's just hard when it's this cold out!

Hello everyone!!
So, I think we've all been pretty busy since we returned home from CCS. I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!
Unfortunately, I haven't finished the first J&D (YET!!) It is almost done! I wanted to show some sketches because I am going to be out of town basically from this wednesday till next friday!
Marie Antoineete (which I am painting with watercolor) and my power animal is a chipmunk. They are good natured, like nuts, store things, and like to scurry. (just like me) Keep on doing art and enjoy the break!!

Here's the process and pencil for the new assignment. I'm going to ink it soon and make it into my blog's banner - I'll update this post with it when I'm done. I'm making a second one with a penguin for a portfolio I'll send to Penguin publishing (hopefully).

So yeah! Make art everyday guys!

Here it is! My power animal is a Magikarp . . .

What is your power animal?

Well no one, yes that includes me, has posted their sexy history piece.  But i am working on it and I hope that all of you are too! but I figured that I would go ahead and post the topic for this weeks piece.  SOOOOOOO... This week, you are to design a piece with an animal that represents you. make it fun, funny, personified, and most of all... make it you.

Time to Pull on Your Fishnets, Abe

Hello, hello. The first topic for Jerk and Draw: WINTER BREAK EDITION is:

Seasonally appropriate, no?

Ben Franklin. Clearly there is no one sexier.

SO. Dress your favorite historical figure up in your favorite dominatrix gear and post it here next Tuesday!

So, the semester is coming to a close, and that long, three-week stretch of Winter Break is rapidly approaching (if you haven't noticed that light at the end of this dark tunnel of finals). I don't know about you guys, but finding time to sketch for fun was hard for me (that might have been, in part, because of the movies and Smash Bros sessions. I don't know).

So, instead of rotting away in our respective basements this break, myself and a few other contributors, were thinking, "HEY WHY DON'T WE RESTART JERK AND DRAW?"--at least for the break before second semester madness start, to keep that art stuff going on.

I thought I'd post this a few weeks ahead of time in my December Mania, to get it out there, and maybe get you all interested in rejoining if you break doesn't involve you chopping off your hands.
Ex.1 of an activity that you can lose your hand doing
Ex.2 of hand-losing activity (Thanks Norman)

I'll post a topic the first Tuesday of break to get this started!
